The Product

One coating. Every steel asset.

Acheulean's silicate corrosion inhibitor is a general-purpose, water-based coating for steel. One product protects threaded hardware, structural steel, pipework, vessels and towers, applied at the film build the application calls for: thin on threads where fit tolerance governs, heavier on surface area where barrier thickness governs. The chemistry is PFAS-free and zero TDI, thinned and cleaned with water, at under 50 g/L VOC. It is in service today on power generation and telecom infrastructure in China, and it is tested to ASTM and ISO methods.

Why Silicate

A new standard.

Inert barrier, not sacrificial

Silicate cures to a hard, chemically inert film bonded to the steel. It resists chemical exposure, moisture and thermal cycling rather than corroding away in place.

Water in, water out

Water is the only thinner and the only clean-up solvent. No solvent handling on site, no solvent waste stream, and VOC under 50 g/L.

One product, every build

The same coating covers threads at 10–15 µm and structural steel at 40 µm. One qualification package, one SDS, one inventory line.
